Andrew Zhou created this website. He is currently a junior at the Wyomissing Area Jr/Sr High School in Wyomissing, PA.
Andrew has been involved in many different computer science disciplines, from programming to web development. He has taken courses on Python, Java, Visual Basic, and App Inventor. He has taken the AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles courses. Often, he helps his computer science department with presentations to the elementary school or at conventions, such as Mini Maker-Fair and the Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference. He wishes that he can go to college to study computer science in the near future.
He is also involved in many other non-computer related activities. He plays violin for the school orchestra, the school chamber orchestra, the pit orchestra, and the Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra. He plays tuba for the school concert and marching bands. He also participates in numerous academic clubs, such as Science Olympiad, Quizbowl, Math Team, and Model United Nations. He has attended MIT's Splash program and Johns Hopkins' Center for Talented Youth.
Oustide of academics, Andrew enjoys music, video games, and board games. He runs a Dungeons and Dragons group.
This site was created as an entrant to the BCIU regional level of the 2017 Pennsylvania High School Computer Fair. It is an entrant for the Web Design competition. It was created from scratch using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. Andrew had to learn how to use Bootstrap in the creation of this website. Microsoft's Visual Studio Code was the main text editor used in the construction of this site. Bitballoon was used to host the site. All fonts used in this website were from Google Fonts.
